Heavenly Delights is a new brand of confectionery that has been created for the Halal-conscious market of today. Our aim is to provide customers with the best quality confectionery whilst ensuring that we use the finest ingredients that are 100% Halal Certified by reputable authorities.

At Heavenly Delights, we are fully aware of the ever-increasing concerns on the issue of Halal and the abuse of this term on a mass scale in the food industry as a whole. Therefore, we have gone to great lengths to ensure that every ingredient that is used in the production of our confectionery is checked and approved as 100% Halal by a reputable Halal Certifying Authority, who utilise the most stringent methods to arrive at such a conclusion.

In addition to this, all our confectionery is monitored at the processing plant by scholars who are well-versed in issues and processes related to Halal. They ensure that all production equipment is fully sterilized beforehand, that only the correct ingredients (100% Halal) are used, and remain there throughout the full production and packaging of the confectionery. At Heavenly Delights, we want to be able to guarantee our customers that what they are consuming is thoroughly checked and 100% Halal, leaving no doubts in their minds and no guilt feelings in their conscience.

One of the main concerns of the consumer is regarding the gelatine used in the confectionary. We only use gelatine that is manufactured in Pakistan from animals that have been slaughtered according to strict Shari’ah code. SANHA (South African National Halal Authority), which is an associate organisation of the Jamiat ul Ulama (an organisation consisting of distinguished Muslim Theologians), have checked and authorised the gelatine from Leinerpak (Pakistan) as 100% Halal.

We have paid particular attention to the various colourings and flavours that are used in producing the various confectionery. Unknown to many people, a large number of these additives and colourings contain animal products or some form of alcohol. As such, we have had every ingredient checked and approved, so that they contain no unlawful substances.

The production process is carried out at a European plant where hygiene and safety are a priority. Finally, all ingredients used are of the finest quality.
